Bendable Poseable

Welcome, season premieres of fantastic, awsm posm shows!

But firstly, some grievances.
Heroes is getting more warped, I'm afraid I might not like it much very soon.

Prison Break is getting a little ridiculous - what other prison are they breaking out of now? NONE! Can the show, call it something else, this thing is getting to be a drag, and it's a real pity.

And with that said,

Chuck is a hot hot HAWT NerdHerder
(holyyyy, that scene where he undresses and dresses, trying on his different clothes!)

and Barney is still my favourite tv guy ever

I'm not gonna pretend that I hate the new Barney and that he's less funny than womanising, rude, jerk of a Barney. True, his trysts with random women results in more laughs but he's still adorable as sweet Barney circa hippies phase! Besides, the whole SNAG Barney was temporary, so really, I don't see why fans had to moan about the new direction NPH's character is taking. Barney had to evolve after all, otherwise he'll grow stale.
Truly, HIMYM is comedy platinum.

He IS awesome.

On a not so different note, Shar and I discussed the different types of gays.
There's 4 of 'em - Hot, Mess, BFF and...

Fathers by means of IVF!

:D

I think Casey is so man and there's so many things to be done in a week. I've lost my freakin' name tag = no more staff discounts and feeling of coolness. I've had a couple of ideas and I haven't had the time to jot down a proper intro! I haven't been paid. I've yet to go for photography workshops and spruce up my room. The steam cleaner seems to be malfunctioning the last time I used it and bigger house + lotsa things = helluva mess.

This is gonna be the toughest spring cleaning yet and already imu.

My room's now no more than a place to recharge and go. I spend a grand total of 7 hours at most at home, and the rest of the day is spent outdoors.

You and me, let's go the next time that you're lonely,
or the next time that you're free.
So why if we can make the plans can we just not find the time?

I'm sorry I've had little time for anyone else.

-

On a completely different note, thanks to the PWC for never failing to deliver kooky birthday surprises! I love the gift, I simply adore it and when I spring clean my room properly, I will put it up where it deserves to be. ALSO! I will invite y'all, esp Shar and Eunice so that you can step into a room that's been dusted, swept, mopped, polished and waxed. I know my house was in a downright disgraceful state, and I'm sorry you gals had to see it that way!

And speaking of disgraceful, I simply had to go and get my hair cut didn't I. And I remember telling Shyqah to shake me real hard and scream at me if I ever cut my hair again to a ridiculous length like it is now. Ughhhh I want my hair to grow out to a lustrous luscious length so I will look like a distant relative of that hair-ad mermaid at bus stops. I'm brilliantly pissed with myself, I'm so easy to be sold on a haircut when all I needed was a fringe trim and some head massage with shampooing and conditioning. Now I'm stuck with hair that resembles the brush that's usually used for scrubbing the toilet floor and I think I quite deserved it.
EEEEEEE.

x08 in end of October (I'm hoping for great xbox 360 bargains) - I will call my new console Pizzle.
It'll be a riot!

I have great vision for my cave and the toga wearer.
We will start a nuclear war at the gay bar, gay bar, gay bar.

Standing in the light field

My new job's got some juicy juice.
Who woulda thunk!

I'd love to talk to old men with ED or something. I imagine they can fill up a whole page in a case file just in one appointment alone, it's awesome. And then I'd also jot down the height, weight and age of the patient so that the clerk who's sifting through data for me can read it and also imagine how the scenario would play out, taking into account the patient's attractiveness and how he would convey his tale. Who needs TV when you can do that instead?

So anyway yeah, work's pretty alright so far. Wish you were here.

Psych grad, who may or may not be gay but who cares anyway so long his actions makes me sway, said he'd sms around the 25th! Looking forward to it because he smses like a hot mimsy. Funny guy.

Take your skin off when you listen to me

Work's bloody eating up my time. Every day, I sit in my new swivel chair and type away at the desk, pretending that each name completed, each bit of data obtained and categorised neatly is like a lap out of many-many-many laps in a racing game.

Today I read something that made me consider pursuing psychology in college. The more I thought about it, the more it appealed to me.

Seriously, chew on this.

"Patient seems to be going through a mid life crisis as he said that he would like to get married to a young woman 1/3 of his age and have kids. Patient to be referred to a psychiatrist for further investigation. Has seen a psychiatrist once after pre-university due to 'nervous breakdown brought on by stress due to school-related matters'."*

What other job lets you write incredible things like that and be taken seriously too?
It's brilliant.

*Fictitious adaptation of course.

On a totally different page, why the socks aren't the Malay radio stations playing Hari Raya songs? And where are the outrageous listeners who call in to send ridiculous dedications to their loved ones? I've yet to hear even one remotely interesting one :/ The last interesting one I remember happened eons ago.

Listener: Hello?
DJ: Hi, who's there on the other line?
Listener: My name's So-and-So. I'm from the north region of Singapore, WASSSSSSSAP?!!
DJ: Wow, an enthusiastic caller indeed! Anyway So-and-So, what would you like to say to our listeners?
Listener: Hello?
DJ: Yes, we're still here, we can hear you loud and clear.
Listener: Heh, I couldn't hear you just now. Anyway I just wanted to say that... (pauses a while) Hello?
DJ: Hello! Yes, who would you like to dedicate the next song to?
Listener: Hello, hello?
(Line goes dead)

For some profound reason, that exchange just tickles my funnybone.
WASSSSSSSAP?!!?11! was comedy gold.

Aubergene Surrealism

I woke up from a dream that's both disturbing and feel-good this morning, which makes me think - How much of our dreams are simply mindplay or manifestations of something deeper than that?

I had sworn that phase was over but it seems to be back by popular demand by those elves running the cerebrum. C'mon kids, I thought you burnt those connecting thingys that even remotely have anthing to do with the pleb!

Oh, the razorblade, that's what I call love, I bet you'd pick it up and mess around with it.
If I put it down, it gets extremely complicated.
Anything to forget everything.

Beautiful Villain

OMG THEY'RE GETTING TOGETHER TO RECORD A SONG.
I'm actually anticipating this single eagerly.
Happiest news I've had today!

The aliens have landed

I've got a new cam to truly call my own! (((:
No more sharing with the rest of the family!

I decided to get the T70 after all, it's more compact and cheaper. Initially, I wanted to get the white T70 but there weren't any so after much consideration and prodding and being shouted at by Sharlene,

Me: Okay, I've decided which to get but the problem is which colour to get!
Ashley, Shar & ZY: Black!
Me: I dunno... Pink actually kinda looks sorta nice?
Shar: OMG WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH THE REAL FARHANA! GET BLACK!!

Black's neat, I'm still totally psyched over my purchase and the tons of photos waiting to be taken.

Its editing features are pretty nifty.

It's the 3rd day of the fasting month and I am vv worried because I haven't gotten a bag and a new pair of shoes yet. Yeah, end of the world, that one.

-

Moment of sappiness: Last year towards the end of the month, song-exchanging. He's adorable.

I'm doing things that I can't explain. I'm out of line. IMU.
