I thought I was going to blow my morning on asinine dance routines, especially after finding out only 4 people from my class turned up at morning assembly.
I was miffed; I thought the girls had forsaken me!
"Wahlaoeh, they all pang-sei me..."
Turned out that they were merely late, HEH.
Anyway, mass dance was a complete bore because the class was too embarrassed to execute the really silly steps. It's not like the girls and I didn't try to escape, we did try but we failed miserably when a PC teacher caught us sneaking off. His threats were as effective as Panadol pills were for cancer - "4 ROUNDS OF MAKEUP PC!!!" - Like come on... we don't have PC anymore! Plus, running isn't such a bad thing right.
We did consider doing Mr Lim's card in the toilet because we were THAT scared of getting caught for missing the Teachers' Day concert. Fact.
Oh and Sharlene has Pon ancestry (I suspect that's where she gets her seemingly Malay looks from) She's a natural at this spooking people stuff.

Had a good long chat with Shimah that spanned more than 2 hours.
Boy was it so good, it was almost like absolution. Weird connection but pretty apt in my opinion. It's come full circle (:
