sun in the sky

I lead a charmed life, I'm pretty sure of it.

Got my PW results today, and to say I am pleasantly surprised with my grade as well as my team mates' would be an understatement.
Though I thought my group did the best we could, our tutor had successfully convinced us that getting even a pass would be a good deal for us.
I remember that I used to pray for a subpass. Ok lah, maybe an E?
The point is, it was drilled into us that a PASS would be godsent.
So results were released today and as luck would have it, we self-professed slackers/lazyyybums managed Bs and Cs!
I'd feel much much happier and prouder if all of us got B's though.

In spite all that, I just wanna say that you guys
-Devaki, editor supreme / administrator of jokes&hilarious moments
-Yvee, neat freak of the group / gossip-disher :P / brilliant info-researcher
-Simon, he who swears by black band tshirts / the unexpected but much-respected poetic talent
-Calven, provider of giggles / self-proclaimed hottie&babe magnet

Thanks for the abso-fucking-lutely awesome experience we shared working together.
Though it wasn't smooth sailing at all times, I'm glad we stuck it out.
You peeps are the best group I could ever wish for (though we got tgt not purely by intention haha)

Life is unexpected,
just like Mr Lim's habit of giving detention on the basis of any absurd thing you can think of.
(Yeah, that man seems to love handing out detention sessions on a whim HAHA)
So today, I want to make it a point to let people around me know that I care for them.

Mum
You're the best mother any girl could possibly have.
You impose no curfew on me, you let me off with minimal household chores and you allow me to pursue whatever I want in life.
Your immense faith in me is undescribable and intangible, but it's the greatest motivation for me to be the best daughter/sister/friend/student/person I can ever be.
I love you.

Mira
Though at times you make me weary, ironically, you make me trudge on even through my tough times.
I guess a little of your fighting spirit passed on to me.
Did you know that I admire your strength and resilience a lot?
You're a beautiful individual (pls pls pls don't let that come across as lesbian-ish lol)
I love you and yaaaaaaaaaaaay for Mira!

You're. A. Pillar.
Thanks (:
Oh, I think that made 4.

Sharlene & Eunice
Your wankiness and noobness, respectively, make school a much more tolerable place to be, especially when the PHB's giving his usual so-called talks that are of no use at all.
Sharlene makes the stupidest expressions around, but I like watching her antics.
It assures me that I'm not as weird as people think I am.
I love you, you fudging wanker!

Eunice's tardy/inappropriate responses to current situations never fails to crack me up.
She's like a walking stress-buster!
*HELLO!*

And let's not forget the BoyLove.
Wowza!

I blame this burst of emo-ness on my Bollywood movie marathon and that time of the month. (gosh, or could it be that I have matured? wooooooow)

I'm perfectly content with my life, I'm coping pretty well with my studies and I've got incredible people around me.
See, I told you I lead a charmed life. (((:
