Far Out

(Superduper long post follows)
Yesterday, the TerrificThree went out for a sorely-needed break from studies and other major contributing factors of stress.

We went SHOPPING!
shopping shopping shopping shopping shopping shopping SHOPPING!!!
I love that word, I think it sounds godsent.

Anywayyy,
the three of us met up way later (6pm) than our intended time (2pm changed to 2.30 changed to 5pm changed to 5.15pm and finally 5.30pm).
But there is a saying that goes
"Good things are worth the wait"
and I think it's awfully apt in this case (:

I was rushed into buying a dress (zomg my first dress in 7 years!) at Bugis Village.
I asked about the dress on the mannequin and the shoplady immediately gushed about how I will be the only person with that dress, I'm very lucky, blah blah blah...
when I haven't even agreed to buy the damn outfit.
Anyway, long story short, I bought the dress in the end because I thought it was a steal ($18!) and maybe because the lady flattered me a bit, heh heh.
I don't think the dress is as exclusive as the lady said 'cause I'm pretty sure that one fine day when I don that dress, I'll see at least 841343123 other girls wearing a dress of similar fashion, albeit of different colour/prints.
Yeah, so what I'm trying to say is the lady's a liar, haha!

Mira got a long-sleeved shirt with a hoodie after what seemed like hours circumnavigating that damn place and on top of that, she took lightyears to try on a single piece of fabric.
Shimah and I kept cracking each other up while waiting for her and even the shoplady there laughed. We're just infectious :D

After shopping, we went to Swensen's at Park Royal Hotel, at my suggestion, which is the best outlet hands and feet down!
It's the most excellent outlet because it's open 24h and because...
THERE'S A GORGEOUS WAITER WORKING THERE!
(Yvee, that cute waiter is still working there lah, omg!)

Anyway Mira, I think he looked cool. Not cute, but still cool. :D

Banana crumble is simply gastronomic, orgasmic, whatever -mic, please, and so's the waiter

Apparently, Shimah shares my sentiments regarding the waiter!
She made a complete fool outta herself around the waiter at least twice HAHA.
Oh yeah, his name's Jeffrey the Total Hottie (See, it rhymes!)
When J came and asked about the food, Shimah happened to be scooping a bit of the banana crumble into her mouth and she tried to cover it up because she claimed she looks unglam with a spoon in her mouth.
She waited for J to leave and suddenly gasped "HOT!"
And no, it wasn't the waiter, it was the dessert which was hot. The silly girl didn't wait for her portion to cool because she got too flustered when J came, HAHA!
So that was the first of Shimah's embarassing experiences involving J.

The 2nd one happened when we leaving the restaurant.
Being the devious sly bitch that I am, I told Shimah to leave her hp on the table so that the waiter will see it and rush to return it to her personally.
And if he didn't see it, I was banking on the possibility that Shimah will bump into J while scrambling to retrieve her phone because she's such a klutz hehe.
So yeah, the latter happened instead (Shimah bumped into J who was holding a full tray) and Shimah went home a very happy girl.

Admittedly, I too, fumbled when the waiter came near.
I touched the sizzling pan with the banana crumble and didn't realise it was hot
till the pain registered.
Yeah, I'm such a doofus (:
Mira was the only one who remained immune to his charms.
She's insane, lah.

Oh yeah Shimah, just so things are clear...

Mira is random and influences me likewise.
That's why my train of thought is always off-track.
But we do silly and a lil bizarre things together, which makes me happy and preserves the sanity of my soul.
I needed some soul-savin' these past few days anyway, ya know what I mean (;

Got a B for Malay and a pass for Malay oral!
I think it's a pretty remarkable feat, considering I did only 3 assignments - 2 essays & 1 grammar/vocab/proverb thingy.
Plus, I think i butchered my mother tongue during the oral. Could have sworn I made the female examiner's eye twitch when I tried to describe
"...advertisements that hint at sexual bestiality... Hence such ads should be banned as they can prove detrimental to a growing child's social values"
How the hell do you translate "sexual bestiality"?
Naturally, I got all flustered (it was such a good idea, dammit!) and because of that, I failed to blurt the next line in Malay and it came out in English.
Sad.
BUT I PASSED ANYWAY HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAH

Anyway, that's not the main point of this entry.

You know what level of obsession I'm at when I bother to look up whether there'll be a Season 3 of Supernatural online.
Heck, I even signed 4 petitions using different email adds and asked (read: coerce) people to sign them too (:
Eh Amoolah, you'd better sign that damn thing too if you haven't already!

Then hours later on (which is now), I found out that there may even be Season 4 in the works!
I'm exhilirated!
Simply euphoric!
I could fly!
