no idea for a title
FOUND IIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTT...!
Well, technically, not really because I've only found the place that sells ROCK SOUND. The issue I wanted hasn't arrived yet and there I was, amazingly close to tears because I thought all the copies of the mag has been sold out.
Saspen seh.
Anyway, before hitting the bookstores in town, I met up with Eunice, Hajar, Meena and Sharlene to look for band t-shirts at Peninsula Plaza. We had a freaking hilarious experience at one of the stores (it's on the 2nd floor!) which brought the video of Russell Peters' stand-up act strongly to mind.
Not that the shopkeeper was Chinese, nor was she a total fidiot who refused to hand us a good bargain. See, Sharlene asked to see the Lostprophets t-shirt that the store stocked and the design was quite mediocre so she tactfully told the lady that she'll look around and come back later (which simply means there is no chance in hell she'll be coming back). Obviously the shopkeeper caught on to that and so she quickly offered, "Okay, for you, $11 since my business is slow today. It's a good price, normal price is $15!"
At that point, I got into a fit of silent giggles and whispered (quite audibly, admittedly) "RUSSELL PETERS!"
If that wasn't enough, the lady even said "If you come back, I won't sell it to you at $11. It'll be another price!"
HAHAHA WHAT THE FUCK.
The whole scenario was just too funny that for all of the lady's harshness, we just couldn't get annoyed with her.
Still, Shar kept a reasonably straight face, stood her ground and politely refused to purchase the t-shirt. Kudos to her! If it were me, I would just have burst out laughing, which most likely would piss the shopkeeper auntie even more.

Will be away for a couple of days or so due to sleepover / sleep over, whichever appeals to you.
So whoever wants to contact me, bug me by sms-es or calls!
Text me!
But It's Better If You Do CALL ME!
I wanna try out my new Bden ringtone without my having to call myself again and again!
