FRIDAY
HAPPY RACIAL HARMONY DAY!
MORE IMPORTANTLY (for me at least) - HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIRA!
Composed a poem for her under 2 minutes but I shall not post it here for fear of amazing you peeps silly due to my simply astounding brilliance.
School was bearable for a Friday. The geog tutor didn't come to the college so my class had a good start to the day. =) Since today was Racial Harmony Day, some of the A3 girls took the opportunity to get into their chosen ethnic outfit during the first (non-existent) lesson.
Sharlene wore a red kimono (kimomo in Xinyi-talk), Clara wore a purple checkered kebaya and Josephine, Meena and Yvette wore sarees! Pink, blue and green respectively. Beautiful, girls. Let's ALL do it as a class next year.
GP - Incredibly entertaining. We had a pseudo-debate - 'Singapore does not have a local identity. It has a global identity.' or something along those lines. Mr G was the adjudicator and girls for prop and boys for opp. Each point given earned a point while a rebuttal earned 2 points. Anyway, Mr G let us use a ring-bell whenever we want to state our case or make a rebuttal. So, before the start of the debate, he gave the two teams the ring-bells. Guess what the girls did once the ring-bell touched the surface of the table? Ring it continuously to the point it got a little annoying. (I wasn't one of them. Heh.) It went on for a few moments till Mr G held out his hand in a gesture that seemed to mean 'STOP' but what he said next was unexpectedly amusing.
"Coming, ma'am!"

Debate was sucky. Why? The boys came up with good points. Surprisingly. And my point only scored 1/2 a point. Referee kayu, I tell you. Headbutt due for Mr G. I mean, c'mon lah... My analogy of that mixture and compound thingy was pretty good, OK? Considering that I scored rather abysmally for Chem in the O's. (OK, now that I put that in writing, I'm kind of starting to see why he gave me 1/2) To hell with Chem. Moving on... The debate got a little out-of-hand at times (an unavoidable situation when you've got Devaki) and got really close to World War III. That was the first time A3 was so ALIVE for GP. Anyway, the debate ended with the boys emerging victorious. 11 - 10. Like what the f***, kan??? Sheesh.
MT - Headache. Huge headache. I swear. No kidding.
What a complete doofus. F***ing jackass.
After school, I met my mum and baby sis at the JE library and headed for the hospi soon after. Kika was running around, messing up the mags from the rack and hugging poles. Oh, and she attempted to steal a schoolgirl's waterbottle.

Greetings. I'm Faiqah and I got on this sofa myself. Awfully smart, am I not?

Hey, no money, no honey, baby. Pay up if you wanna see more.

This is to ensure my future in Bollywood. My 'cak!' poses are SO gonna land me a role opposite SRK's son...
Hospi - Visited my atok. Doing fine. Gonna be discharged tomorrow at 9 am. Yours truly will be fetching him home. One big problem - How the hell is my mum gonna wake me up on a weekend and a Saturday, no less? Hohoho...
Was so freaking beat there. Tried to get some shut-eye at one of the lounges but no, those brats had to DISTURB MY PEACE. Sometimes, I wonder - What are young cousins for? They serve only to remind you that the world is an unjust one - Morons are forever gonna be part of your otherwise good life!
Queensway SC - Bought more ear accessories!!! YAY...
